1 For the second time in a week, Framingham Mayor Yvonne Spicer will give a commencement address.

On Saturday, she travelled to New York to give the address at her alma mater SUNY Oswego.

Today, she will give the address to students at MassBay Community College in Wellesley Hills.

2. The Homework Center at the Framingham Public Library will hold its 6th Annual Middle School Spelling Bee tonight at the main Framingham Library from 7 to 9 p.m.

3. Today is an early release for Framingham elementary and middle school students. The main Framingham Library will hold a LEGO open build from 3 to 5 p.m.

  • Framingham High boys lacrosse will host Natick at 3:45 p.m. at Phil Read Field.
  • Framingham High boys tennis will host North Attleborough at 3:45 p.m. at Framingham High
  • Natick High will host Framingham High girls lacrosse under the lights at 7 p.m.


  • Framingham Veterans Council is scheduled to meet at 5:15 p.m. in the Memorial Building
  • Framingham Board of Health is scheduled to meet at 7 p.m. in the Blumer room in the Memorial Building
  • Team Framingham 2019 has a meeting in Framingham City Hall at 7 p.m.
  • Framingham Planning Board has a meeting in the Ablondi room at the Memorial Building at 7 p.m.
