FRAMINGHAM – A rape and kidnapping suspect has been added to the Massachusetts State Police’s “Most Wanted Fugitives” list.
The man has arrest warrants in several municipalities including Framingham.
Carlos Vizcaino kidnapped and raped a woman at knifepoint, over several hours, in New Bedford last May, according to the Massachusetts State Police.
On the morning of May 31, 2018, New Bedford Police responded to a report of a naked woman running from a car.
Massachusetts State Police said officers saw the woman was hurt and brought her to a local hospital, where they learned that Vizcaino held the woman against her will at knifepoint for several hours and sexually assaulted her in his car.
The woman, in her mid 20’s, was able to escape the car and run to a strangers car for help, according to Police. Vizcaino was not located.
A native of the Dominican Republic, Vizcaino has previously claimed to be from Puerto Rico. He has used numerous aliases, including Luis Castro, Angel Maysonet, Luis Linares, and Carlos Vizcano.
Massachusetts State Police said Vizacino has changed his birth date and Social Security number with each alias.
Vizcaino is about 5’7″ and 185 pounds. He is Hispanic, and has black hair and brown eyes and has tattoos on his upper left arm and right shoulder, and scars on his forehead. He has ties to Lynn and Lawrence, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Pennsylvania.
Police obtained a warrant from New Bedford District Court charging Vizcaino with armed kidnapping with sexual assault; rape with threat of bodily injury; and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
Vizcaino has Massachusetts warrants issued out of the Framingham, Lynn, Lawrence, and Plymouth for motor vehicle violations.
