FRAMINGHAM – I’m excited to announce my candidacy for District 8 School Committee. I’m grateful for the encouragement and support I’ve received and I’m dedicated to continuing my service in our community.
Our students, families, teachers, and community members need a voice that stands for our common beliefs.
As a teacher, mother, and home-owner, I am deeply committed to improving Framingham’s future. The education of our children must come first, with their safety and well-being as top priorities.
I am running for election to be an advocate for our children, educators, and city residents.
Adequate and appropriate funding needs to be allocated and I will fight to make sure we have the resources we need. Teachers need to feel valued and be supported. High-quality policy and curriculum are essential. I will work relentlessly to ensure these conditions are met so that optimal learning can take place.
I offer my experiences and skills as a 15-year educator with a master’s degree in education. Throughout my tenure, I have taught at the middle and high school level. I have served on the superintendent’s advisory committee, building advisory committees, and numerous valuation/accreditation groups.
I am a proud graduate of the School of Public Health at the University of Massachusetts. As an active member of my community, I meet regularly with various neighborhood groups and associations and attend community events.
I believe it is our responsibility to provide learning opportunities to help mold our children into the individuals who will support our future generations.
Education, safety, well-being, and learning enrichment opportunities come first. Our children come first.
I’m looking forward to more district dialogues and discussing my vision for the future. I’m passionate about my mission to serve and I greatly appreciate the opportunity to earn your vote.
