FRAMINGHAM – The City of Framingham will hold a Memorial Day ceremony on Monday, May 27 at 11 a.m.
The City will award 10 Medal of Liberty to families members, to remember Framingham Veterans killed in action.
The Medals will be awarded to the families of:
Cpl. Francis J. August, U.S. Army, WWII
Pfc. David R. Buck, U.S. Army, WWI
Pvt. John J. Carr, U.S. Army, WWII
Sgt. Edward C. Davis, U.S. Army Air Forces, WWII
1st Lt. John F. Ford, U.S. Marine Corps, WWII
Sgt. John A. Gillis, U.S. Army, WWII
Pfc. Joseph Pontiggia, U.S. Army, WWII
Pfc. James R. Roust, U.S. Marine Corps, WWII
1st Lt. Herbert S. Worrey, U.S. Marine Corps, WWII
Sgt. Stanley J. Yurewicz, U.S. Air Force, Vietnam
All are welcome to attend the ceremony at the Memorial Building in downtown Framingham.
