UPDATED: 5 Finalists for Framingham High Vice Principal

FRAMINGHAM – Class of 2019 Vice Principal Sarah Redbord is leaving at the end of the school year for a position in Wellesley.

Redbord announced in March that she would become an assistant Principal at Wellesley High School.

Class of 2022 vice principal Mark Albright is currently on a medical leave of absence.

There are five finalists for vice principal for the class of 2023.

They are: Jon Kanavich, Omawali Stewart, Peter Eliot, Meghan Sullivan, and Tracy Ryan.

Community members and parents can attend information sessions on each of the five finalists from 5 to 5:40 p.m. this week.

Monday, May 13: Framingham High School – Director of the Academic Development Center and the Career Development Program
Kanavich, who recently retired as the head wrestling coach for Framingham High.

Tuesday, May 14: Lowell Community Charter Public School Assistant Principal Stewart

Wednesday, May 15: Framingham High English Teacher Eliot

Thursday, May 16: Sullivan, who is filling in for Class of 2022 Vice Principal Albright on leave. She is a math teacher at Framingham High.

Friday, May 17: Newton North High Special Education Teacher Ryan

Framingham High Principal Banach told SOURCE she hopes to make a recommendation for a new vice principal to Superintendent of Schools Bob Tremblay next week.

The Interview Committee to determine the finalists included: Vice Principal Greg Lagan, Vice Principal Jeff Convery, Emily Taylor, Teacher and Robotics Coach Peter Erbland, Framingham High Fine & Performing Arts Department head Chris Brindley, Joe Santiago, teacher and volleyball coach Emily Viti, Kevin Nelson, history teacher Maria Sequenzia, Associate Principal Mark McGillivray, Athletic Director Paul Spear, Framingham High Special Education Director Sheryl Stacey and Principal
Carolyn Banach.
