FRAMINGHAM — The owner of the almost empty Nobscot shopping plaza will meet with the neighborhood later this month.
Andy Rose of Centercorp Retail Properties, which owns the Nobscot Shopping Center, will hold a community meeting to discuss his redevelopment of the property on Monday, May 20 at 6;30 p.m. at Hemenway Elementary School.
The meeting will be held in the cafeteria of the Hemenway School.
Light fare and refreshments will be served.
The only business still operating in the plaza is the CVS, which Rose is looking to move to the corner of Water Street and Edgell Road, after he secured a bid to move the Nobscot Chapel from that corner.
Rose has proposed an apartment development at the plaza on Water Street, which is located near the elementary school, across the street from the fire station, and next door to the Christa McAuliffe Library branch.
