FRAMINGHAM – On Friday, May 3, Framingham-based PARLR will open a pop up lounge location in Boston in the Seaport district.
“I decided to do this with the team 2 weeks ago,” said visionary owner of PARLR Rachael Lynsey Rubin. “We just recently launched PARLR brand bakery, our brand design agency …. and this opportunity arose quickly and it was something we just couldn’t deny.”
“PARLR lounge is a pop-up of the iconic PARLR brand located in Framingham. PARLR lounge will be retailing top makeup & hair products such as BECCA, Stila, Oribe, skincetecuals and Kevin Murphy, etc. The pop up will offer Seaport consumers the ability to get their makeup professionally done and their hair styled for fun or for a special occasion,” said Rubin.
“Need a new headshot? After you get glammed up, you can step into our professional headshot booth to capture the perfect version of yourself. Prefer a live photographer? PARLR lounge will also be accepting Saturday & Sunday sessions with our very own lifestyle photographer. All appointments will be booked via text message All you have to do is send your first and last name and time you’re looking to book (Seaport location only) to 508-380-1272,” explained Rubin.
No surprise the Seaport opening will kick off with a party at 5 p.m. on May 3 at its Northern Avenue & Seaport Blvd. location.
Services at the Seaport location will include makeup applications, hair styling, blow dries (must arrive with wet hair), 1-hour makeup lesson, 1-hour blow out & curl lesson, a self service professional headshot booth, and a live photographer on weekends doing family portrait sessions & outdoor photography, said Rubin.
The pop up store will be open daily from 11 a.m. to 7 p,.m. through August.
“We have a lot of influencers, who will be stopping by and we are partnering with our neighbor, Kelly Brabants, the owner of Booty by Vrabants on events,” said Rubin. “We will be hostly events often on the Seaport common to bring the Seaport community together and get to know our brand.”
“Our very own brand design agency, PARLR brand bakery designed the exterior,” said Rubin. “We are so happy with how it came out. We went with a theme of “it was all a dream”… we even had this saying imprinted on reusable, eco-friendly, holographic totes that we will be giving away with any product purchase!”
