The following is a press release from the City of Framingham issued to SOURCE.
FRAMINGHAM, MA – Busy contractors in need of plumbing, gas, electrical, sheet metal, and shed permits can strike parking and standing in line at City Hall off of their to-do lists because they can now access and pay for them online.
“We want to use technology to make life easier for all of Framingham,” said Mayor Yvonne M. Spicer. “Putting permitting online is the way to expedite the process.”
While not all permits can be paid for online, all can be accessed and printed. For those permits that can be paid for online, payment is by credit card only.
This initiative builds on the vision of using technology solutions that are secure, efficient and cost-effective to make the lives of Framingham residents better.

Residents can pay real estate/personal property, excise, parking and water bills online; register for Parks and Recreation programs; sign up for email or text notifications about things of interest; search by department or the name of a City employee; find employment opportunities; and more.
