FRAMINGHAM – Junior right fielder Maya Kawakami led the way on offense with a 3-3 day that included a grand slam (4 RBI), said softball head Coach Meg Powers on the Framingham High Flyers victory over Wayland High.
Flyers won 8-7.
Catcher Olivia Lincoln went 3-4 with a run scored, and seniors Kaylee Hall, Syd Aivazian, Steph Skura, and Jenna Kelly all scored runs.
Senior pitcher Molly Carman played a solid game, striking out 11 and picking up a key RBI late in the 5th inning to keep the Flyers in the lead for the rest of the game.
Next game is today, April 25 at Holliston High at 3:45 p.m.
