Firefighters Rescue 2 Cats and Bird From Framingham House Fire

FRAMINGHAM – Framingham firefighters rescued two cats and a bird from a house fire tonight, April 25, said the city’s assistant fire chief.

Engine 5, Engine 3, Ladder 3, Rescue 1 and the shift commander responded to 15 Eden Street around 5 p.m. for a 1-alarm fire, said Framingham Assistant Fire Chief Michael Dutcher.

The fire was in the basement of the house.

The fire was quickly knocked down in about 10 minutes, said Chief Dutcher.

There were no injuries, said Chief Dutcher.

Ashland and Sudbury covered Framingham Fire Stations, while Framingham firefighters were extinguishing the fire, said the chief.
