  1. Amazing Things will host the Framingham High poetry slam tonight at 7:30 p.m. Click here for teams and more details. Tickets will be available at the doors.

2. Northeastern University professor Dan Kennedy will speak about journalism at the main Framingham Library tonight at 7. The one-hour lecture is free.

3. Framingham Mayor Yvonne Spicer, according to her public schedule, is scheduled to be a speaker at Walsh Career Day.

Framingham Source Editor/Publisher will also be speaking at career day about journalism.

4. City of Framingham meetings:

  • Framingham Veterans Council is scheduled to meet atr 5:15 p.m. at the Memorial Building
  • Framingham Board of Health is scheduled to meet at 7 p.m. in the Blumer Community Room at the Memorial Building.
  • Framingham Planning Board will meet at 7 p.m. in the Ablondi room at the Memorial Building.

  • Girls Tennis will host Brookline at 3:45 p.m. at Framingham High.
  • Boys tennis travels to Brookline for a 3:45 p.m.match against the Warriors
  • Girls Softball has a 3:45 p.m. game against the Panthers in Holliston
  • Girls lacrosse hosts Natick High at 5:15 p.m. at Phil Read Field
  • Boys lacrosse travels to Natick High for a 7 p.m. game
