Car Fire on Pratt Street – Easter Sunday

Firefighters responded to a car fire around 8:15 pm. Video from a Source Reader who called 9-1-1 for the Pratt Street fire. Source will update when we get more details from the department – Susan.

FRAMINGHAM – A neighbor called 9-1-1 just after 8:15 p.m. for a truck fire on Pratt Street on Easter Sunday.

Firefighters, when they arrived at 14 Pratt Street, found a fully engulfed pick-up truck.

Responding to the fire was Engine 3, Ladder 3, Engine 1, Engine 5, Car 2 and an ambulance, said Framingham Assistant Fire Chief Michael Dutcher on Mondau.

The owner was trying to do some work on the truck, when he saw a fire start., said Chief Dutcher.

He went inside to get some water, and by the time he came back outside, the fire had extended to the entire truck, said Chief Dutcher.

There were no injuries,

The truck was destroyed, said the Chief.

The vinyl siding on the house melted, but the fire never extended into the house, said Chief Dutcher.
