Raiders Defeat Flyers 14-4

WELLESLEY – The Framingham High girls lacrosse team is still seeking its first win of the season, after a loss to Wellesley High on the road today.

The Flyers lost to the Raiders 14-4.

Framingham is now 0-2, under new head coach Melanie Sharick.

“Despite the score, we focused hard on winning 50-50 balls and succeeded in that area, so that was a huge takeaway for us,” said Sharick.

“Obviously a lot of room for growth, but we had a lot of hard work on the field today,” said the head coach.

In net for the Flyers is senior captain Hannah Carroll.

Wellesley sophomore Lauren Burke lead the Raiders with four goals. They are now 3-0 on the season.

Close to 80 girls tried out for the girls lacrosse team this season.

The Flyers other caotains are Tyler Powers and Julia Rosano.
