FRAMINGHAM – The MutualOne Charitable Foundation has awarded $10,000 to support out-of-school programs provided at the Framingham Clubhouse of the Boys & Girls Clubs of MetroWest. Announcement of the grant was made by Robert P. Lamprey, chairman of the MutualOne Charitable Foundation.
MutualOne has consistently supported the Boys & Girls Clubs’ after-school and summer programs and services in Framingham over the past several years. “We are pleased to offer our support for the Boys & Girls Clubs’ efforts to provide a safe and supervised environment where the youth of our community can cultivate the skills, confidence, and competence to reach their full potential,” said Lamprey.
The $10,000 grant to the Boys & Girls Clubs of MetroWest was among awards totaling $109,020 in the MutualOne Charitable Foundation’s most recent round of funding.
Established in 1998 as the philanthropic arm of MutualOne Bank, the MutualOne Charitable Foundation has since donated over $4.4 million to charitable, educational, and civic initiatives that improve and enrich the quality of life in Framingham, Natick, and surrounding communities.
MutualOne Bank, which operates under an 1889 state charter, has full-service offices at 828 Concord Street and One Lincoln Street in Framingham and at 49 Main Street in Natick, a Commercial Loan Center at 160 Cochituate Road in Framingham, and a Residential Loan Center at 49 Main Street in Natick.
