5 Things You Need To Know Today in Framingham: Monday, March 18

1 There will be a graveside service at St. Stephen’s cemetery this morning to mark the 40th anniversary of the death of Lt. John Costanza in the line of duty as a Framingham firefighter. He was made a captain posthumously.


2. Framingham Department of Public Works will hold a meeting on phase 2 and phase 3 of the Union Avenue construction project tonight at the main Framingham Library at 49 Lexington Street. All are invited to attend.

 

3. According to the Mayor’s public schedule, Mayor Yvonne Spicer is holding an office hour with City Councilors from 4 to 5 p.m.

No other events were on her public schedule.

4. March 18-24 is International Teach Music Week.

Framingham Housing Authority meeting at 5 p.m

Framingham City Council’s finance subcommittee scheduled to meet at 5 p.m. in the Memorial Building in the Ablondi room

Framingham City Seal Committee scheduled to meet at 6 p.m. in City Hall

Framingham City Council’s appointment subcommittee scheduled to meet at 6:30 p.m. at the Memorial Building in the Blumer room.
