Framingham High Class of 2019 To Roast Math Teacher Friday Night

FRAMINGHAM – The senior class typically hosts a hypnotist show, but this year the class of 2019 has opted instead for an old fashioned roast.

The senior class will host Strader Skewed – The Roast of Mr. Strader, in honor of long-time Framingham High math teacher Chris Strader.

The family-friendly comedy event is planned for Friday night, March 22 at 6:30 in the high school’s auditorium.

Strader is a beloved math teacher at Framingham High School. He is also the high school’s boys tennis coach.

Known for his jokes and sarcasm, this event hopes to utilize his joking ways and relationships with his students, said senior class vice president Michael Skinnion.

A panel of Framingham High students, plus fellow math teacher Illana Killgoar, will have the opportunity to poke fun of Strader, in front of students, staff, and the community.

But it is Strader who gets the last laugh, as he gets an open mic at the end of the event to take his shots at the panel members.

The community and past students are invited to attend.

Tickets are $5, and can be purchased from any senior class officer. Tickets will also be sold at the door.

The event is a fundraiser for the senior class.
