Framingham City Council Joins Facebook

FRAMINGHAM – The 11-member elected Framingham City Council has launched a Facebook page.

You can follow the Framingham City Council, by clicking this link.

The Facebook page was launched in January 2019, but the first post was this month in March, when the City Council recorded its March 5, 2019 meeting on Facebook Live.

“A special shout out to (District 3) City Councilor (Adam) Steiner for all of his efforts to make this happen,” said City Council Chair Dennis Giomebtti on the first Facebook Live meeting. “I would also like to thank School Committee Chair Adam Freudburg and Supt of Schools Bob Tremblay for their assistance in making this possible.”

Giombetti said it was the Council’s “desire to get it completed in 2018 too but there were a few technology and process issues that we had to overcome. Councilor Steiner stepped up given his technology expertise he was able to resolve them.”
