Chief Trask To Speak at Framingham Business Association March Meeting

FRAMINGHAM – Framingham Police Chief Steven Trask will be the guest speaker at the March meeting of the Framingham Business Association on Wednesday, March 20.

The meeting starts at noon at La Cantina Restaurant on Route 135 in Framingham.

The Framingham Business Association was created to promote and protect the value, importance and significance of a thriving business community in the City of Framingham, and to ensure that local businesses’ needs are being considered, understood and supported by the residents and government officials.

“I always enjoy speaking to the business association,” said Chief Trask. “I’m always interested in what the business owners have to say.”

Trask said he plans to discuss the staffing of the police department, and how the department operates. he said he plans to explain the structure of the department from the administration down to the cruisers on the road.

The Framingham Police Department added about a dozen new officers in 2018.

Trask was appointed the new chief by Mayor Yvonne Spicer last year, after Chief Ken Ferguson retired.

Trask also promoted Lester Baker and Victor Pereira as deputy police chiefs, to go along with deputy police chief Ron Brandolini.

The meeting is open to members. New members are welcome.
