Framingham Competes in Wayland Saturday in Opening Round of State Drama Festival

WAYLAND – Today is the preliminary round of the Massachusetts Educational Theatre Guild’s 2019 state drama festival.

Framingham will compete in Wayland with seven other drama companies.

There are 14 competitions today and tomorrow, March 3. Three high schools from each of the 14 will move on to the semifinal round.

Framingham High’s entry is of George Orwell’s Animal Farm.

Each high school must perform its entry in 40 minutes.

The public can attend the performances today. There is an entrance fee.
