UPDATED: Framingham Seeded #5 in Super 8 Hockey Tournament

FRAMINGHAM – The Framingham High boys hockey team has made the Super 8 tournament.

The Flyers are seeded #5.

Framingham has a record of 17-3-2, under head coach Will Ortiz.

BC High, which Framingham defeated earlier this year, is seeded #1.

The Flyers will play #4 Arlington High on Sunday, March 3 in Lowell at the Tsongas Arena.

UPDATE: The Framingham game will be the second of three games that day. Puck to drop at 4;15 p.m.

The rest of the Super 8 is:

Pope Francis at #2, whom the Flyers lost to earlier this season

Hingham High at #3, whom Framingham lost to earlier this season

Austin Prep at #6

The top 6 are automatic qualifiers for the Super 8 tournament. Teams 7-10 will battle for the final two wildcard spots.

#7 seed is Duxbury High

#8 seed is St, Mary’s – whom Framingham lost to in the state finals two years ago at the garden

#9 seed is Marshfield High

#10 is Xaverian, whom Framingham just defeated earlier this month.
