NATICK – Senior Grace Connolly finished in second place in the 1,000 meter race at the all-state meet held at the Reggie Lewis Center in Boston today, Feb. 23.
Connolly also finished second in the mile event.
Milton’s Elise O’Leary, a senior, set a personal record, in winning the 1,000 meter race in 2:53.32 minutes.
Connolly’s time was 2:53.47 minutes. She has qualified to compete in the New England meet.
Billerica junior Nicole Anderson finished third in a personal best 2:54.68 minutes.
In the mile, Newton South junior Lucy Jenks won the mile in 4:52.60 minutes. Connolly’s time was 4:53.41 minutes.
Wellesley senior Margaret Donah was third in 5:01.39 minutes.
Natick sophomore Katherine Connolly finished fourth overall in the two mile. It was a personal best 10:49.68 minutes.
Littleton’s Sarah Roffman won the race in a personal best 10:40.83 minutes.
Natick senior Kassidy Gallagher finished 14th in the shot put with a throw of 33 feet and 4.75 inches.
There were 22 competitors, with Seekonk senior Cameron Garabian winning the event with a personal record of 48 feet and 2 inches.
