UPDATED: Global Climate Change on Agenda For Framingham Democrats on Oscar Night

FRAMINGHAM – The next meeting of The Framingham Democratic Committee (FDC) will be this Sunday, February 24th, at the Community Room at The Framingham Green, 136 Maynard Road. Meeting is scheduled to begin at 7:00.

This month, the FDC will be presenting a discussion of “Global Climate CHange” with three guest speakers: Brandeis Professor Sabine von Mering; State Representative Maria Duaime Robinson, who has an expertise in energy and the environment; and Larry Stoodt, an environmental activist working with “350 Mass – Better Future Project.”

Additionally, the meeting will be addressed by Kate Sanetra-Butler, Founder & Exec. Director of Dignity Matters, which will be the Charity of the month for March, who will discuss the needs of this support organization for homeless women and girls.

The FDC normally meets on the third Sunday evening of the month. All those attending are asked to park their cars at the lot at 1071 Worcester Rd., which is on the corner of Maynard Rd and Rte. 9.
