Police: Individual Injures Hand While Cleaning Gun

FRAMINGHAM – A individual injured his hand while cleaning his gun this afternoon, said Framingham Police Lt. Patricia Grigas.

The scanner indicated a shooting happened in the Mt Wayte neighborhood, just before 4:30 p.m.

Scanner has a victim being transported to the Mass State Police landing zone awaiting a medical helicopter.

The individual injured his hand.

The gun was licensed, said Lt. Grigas.
