UPDATED: Framingham Man, 67, Struck on Route 9

FRAMINGHAM – A Framingham man was struck on Route 9, tonight, February 20, just before 7 p.m.

The man, 67, was struck near The Solar System at 686 Worcester Road at 6:54 p.m. on Route 9 East.

The man struck had multiple injuries and was being transported by ambulance to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, according to Police.

He was conscious and alert, said Framingham Police Lt. Patricia Grigas.

Police are investigating.

The driver did stop. The driver stayed. No charges pending, at this time, said Lt. Grigas.

The man was struck by a Toyota Highlander, that was registered in Natick.

It is unknown if he was in the crosswalk.
