NORTON – The National Weather Service in Boston/Norton is forecasting snow tonight, Feb. 17, in MetroWest, including Framingham, Natick, and Ashland.
Snow is expected to start tonight and continue into Monday. Current expectations are for 2 to 4 inches of snow.
However, if the low pressure system tracks further south accumulations would be limited to an inch or two, said the National Weather Service.
On the other end of the spectrum, a track further north would result in a swath of 3 to 7 inches of snow. The greatest risk for impacts for those commuting Monday morning will be south of the Massachusetts turnpike.
The National Weather Service also said there exists the potential for a wintry mix of snow, sleet and freezing rain sometime late Wednesday into Thursday morning.
