2. FLYERS in action:

  • Framingham High’s co-ed alpine ski team is scheduled to compete tonight at Blue Hills in Milton.

 

 

 

3. Today, from 3 to 4:30 p.m. the Framingham High School Art Club & National Art Honor Society will host a special exhibit at 73 Mount Wayte Avenue in the Framingham Public Schools administration building.

The exhibit is called We Are Many Colors / Somos Muchos Colores / Nos Somos Muitas Cores

The free exhibit is comprised of original pieces that portray concept and mood within a celebration of multiculturalism and diversity with the local and greater community. These art pieces create an opportunity for students to present their global citizenship – appreciating and embodying the idea that art has the power to change lives and improve our community, and our world.

The public is welcome to attend the showing.

4. Mayor Yvonne Spicer plans to attend the Massachusetts Correctional Institute’s Black History Month service at MCI Framingham from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

5. City of Framingham meetings:

Framingham Planning Board is meeting tonight at 7 p.m. in the Memorial building. There is a public hearing scheduled on the proposed B3 zoning change for Nobscot.
