5 Things You Need To Know Today in Framingham: Wednesday, February 13

1 The MBTA is proposing a 6.3 percent rate hike, that would be effective July 1. The MBTA is holding a public hearing on the proposed rate hike tonight in Framingham at the Memorial Building from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

2. FLYERS in action:

  • Framingham High girls ice hockey team will host Brookline High today at Loring Arena at 4:15 p.m. Before the game the seniors on the team will be honored.
  • Framingham High girls basketball team will host Brookline High at 6:30 p.m. Before the game the senior on the team will be honored.
  • Framingham High boys basketball will travel to Brookline for a 6:30 p.m. game against the Warriors. The Flyers are 9-8 and need to win 1 one of their last 3 games to qualify for post season play.

 

 

 

3. The FSEPAC group is hosting MCAS: Access & Achievement tonight at 7 at Cameron Middle School. This is an important presentation if your child has a 504 or IEP.

  • Historical Commission has a meeting at 7 p.m. in City Hall.
  • Framingham Cultural council has a meeting at 7 p.m. in City Hall.
