FRAMINGHAM – Anna Marie Morini Dunford, 83, of Moncks Corner, SC, a retired LPN and Nursing Care Coordinator, died Saturday afternoon in Charleston, SC.
Mrs. Dunford was born September 23, 1935, in Framingham, a daughter of Vincent Morini and Anne C. White Morini.
She pursued her nursing degree at Northeastern University, and she formerly attended St. Luke’s Catholic Church, Mint Hill, NC.
Mrs. Dunford loved her family and looked forward to family gatherings, the casino, ballroom dancing, and she was a very social, kind, and caring person. She enjoyed traveling and was a proud military wife for 30 years and a member of the Military Wives Club.
Mrs. Dunford was preceded in death by a daughter, Cindy Dunford, and two sisters, Lucille Creasia and Eileen Tuck. She was the widow of CSM John F. Dunford.
Surviving are two daughters, Kim Ammons and her husband, Don, of Savannah, GA, and JoAnne Goodrich and her husband, Neil, III, of Moncks Corner; four sons, James V. Dunford and his wife, Gina, and David M. Dunford all of Fort Worth,TX, John P. Dunford and his wife, Susan, of Glen Burnie, MD, and Austin C. Dunford and his wife, Elizabeth, of Athol; a sister, Sheila Mozingo of Farmville, NC; nineteen grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will honor and remember Anna Marie’s life by gathering for a time of visitation in the McCarthy, McKinney & Lawler Funeral Home, 11 Lincoln St. Framingham on Saturday February 9 from 9 to 10:30 a.m.
Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Tarcisius Church, 562 Waverly St. at 11 a.m.
Interment will follow in St. Tarcisius Cemetery.
