Weather: High 50s For Parade, Then Winter Returns

NORTON – The National Weather Service is forecasting highs in the 50 today, and Tuesday for the Super Bowl Parade in Boston.

But winter returns on Wednesday night.

Here is the forecast for the week:

Today: Sunny, with a high near 58. Southwest wind around 6 mph.

Tonight: A slight chance of showers after 4am. Increasing clouds, with a low around 37. Southwest wind 3 to 5 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Tuesday: Mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming sunny, with a high near 60. Southwest wind 6 to 8 mph.

Tuesday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 24. Northwest wind 5 to 8 mph.

Wednesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 39. Light and variable wind.

Wednesday Night: A chance of rain and sleet before 8 p.m., then freezing rain. Low around 30. Calm wind. Chance of precipitation is 80%. Little or no sleet accumulation expected.

Thursday: Rain or freezing rain likely, becoming all rain after 7 a.m.. Cloudy, with a high near 42. Light east wind. Chance of precipitation is 70%.

Thursday Night: Rain likely, mainly after 10 p.m.. Cloudy, with a low around 36. Light and variable wind. Chance of precipitation is 70%.

Friday: Rain likely, mainly between 11 a.m.and 2 p.m.. Cloudy, with a high near 50. Light and variable wind becoming west 5 to 9 mph in the morning. Winds could gust as high as 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%.

Friday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 20. West wind 10 to 13 mph.

Saturday: Sunny, with a high near 28. Northwest wind 11 to 13 mph, with gusts as high as 24 mph.

Saturday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 13. Northwest wind 6 to 9 mph.

Sunday:Mostly sunny, with a high near 31. West wind 5 to 7 mph.
