FRAMINGHAM -The Broncos took on the Lady Aztecs of Assabet on Friday afternoon, but were defeated by a final score of 32-21.
Keefe Tech was led in scoring by Gabby Buertello, who finished with 7 points.
The game was very back and forth for most of the first half, with just four points separating the two teams.
However, in the second half, the Lady Aztecs would outscore the Broncos by 15, putting them up by 19 heading into the fourth quarter.
The Broncos fought hard to get back into the game, but ended up falling short.
While the scoreboard did not show the outcome that the Broncos would have liked, the Broncos showed their unselfishness on the court, as they made it a purpose to spread the ball around and try to create shots for one another.
While his team did not prevail, head coach Ken Collins did see some bright spots in the loss.
“This is a great group of kids, and they show up to every game willing to work hard” he said. “Every kid on the court supports one another, which we love to see” he added.
The loss drops Keefe Tech to 3-6 on the season.
