BOSTON -The Framingham High boys indoor track team competed at the BSC open meet yesterday, January 30 at the Reggie Lewis Center in Boston.
Framingahm senior captain Nick Seeto won the 55-meter dash in 6.78seconds. Needham’s Tommy Jordan finished second in 6.81 seconds, with Weymouth’s Christian Quinn third in 6.85 seconds.
Framingham senior captain on Lam finished fourth in 6.86 seconds. Framingham sophomore Josh Halberstadt was 25th out of 58 sprinters.
Natick senior Grady Beauregard won the 300-meter race in 36.91 seconds. Weymouth’s Quinn was second, with Wildcat Joh Tennant third.
Framingham’s fastest runner in the 300-meter race was Zach Blummer, who finished 12th in 39.40 seconds. Framingham junior Angel Martinez was 17th overall out of 45 runners in 39.87 seconds.
Junior Shane Grant won the 600-meter race for Walpole in 1:28.64 minutes. Natick’s Kaeden Berry finished third in 1:32.10 minutes.
BoyNatick sophomore Owen McGarry was 5th in 1:33.19 minutes, with Red Hawk senior Patrick Carr 9th in 1:36.41 minutes. Natick senior Simon Safran was 12th in 1:38.03 minutes with senior Sam Brown 15th in 1:38.87 minutes.
Framingham’s fastest runner in the event was sophomore Chris Kelly in 1:40.63 minutes. He finished 17th out of 34 runners.
Alexander Ivanov of Newton North won the 1000-meter race in 2:41.75 minutes. Natick sophomore Nicholas Melisi was 12th overall in 2:53.56 minutes. Framingham’s best runner that day was Aidan Trierweiler in 20th out of 44 runners at 2:59.70 minutes.
Newton North junior Sean Evans won the mile in 4:40.22 minutes. The Tigers captured five of the top 10 spots in the mile.
Natick’s Daniel Dubsky won the hurdles in 7.92 seconds. A Newton North sophomore was second in 8.34 seconds.
Framingham’s Sed Lomani finished 6th overall in 8.72 seconds.Red Hawk junior Shawn Thornhill was 11th in 8.92 seconds, with Framingham sophomore Finn Lwson 14th overall in 9.27 seconds.
Wellesley won the 4×200 relay in 1:34.56 minutes. Framingham captured second place in 1:36.60 minutes. Wellesley was third and Natick was fourth in 1:38.04 minutes
Newton North won the 4×400 relay in 3:33.92 minutes. Brookline was second and Milton was third. Natick finished fourth in 3:54.96 minutes.
Brookline won the 4×800 relay in 8:08.52 minutes.
Weymouth junior Sean Foley won the high jump at 5-feet, and 7-inches. Newton North sophomore David Bennett was second at 5-5. Natick junior Cajetan Evans finished third with a height of 5-feet, 3-inches.
Weymouth’s Quinn won the long jump at 20 feet and a half inch. His Wildcat teammate Charlie McDonald finished second at 19-feet and 3.5 inches. Natick sophomore Avery Lemieux finished third at 19 feet at 1.5 inches.
Red Hawk McQuillen finished 8th at 18 feet 4 inches. Natick junior Gianni Iaconno finished 10th at 17 feet and 11.5 inches.
Framingham’s best was Ramon Urbaez Garcia at 16 feet and 2 inches. He placed 15th out of 20 competitors.
