Framingham Undefeated in Conference With Shut Out of Walpole

FRAMINGHAM – Framingham boys ice hockey team remains undefeated in the Bay State Conference with a shut out victory over Walpole High at Loring Arena Saturday night.

The Flyers shut out the Rebels 3-0.

The Flyers are now 8-0 in the Conference, and 11-2-1 overall., under head coach Will Ortiz.

All three goals game in the third period, as Walpole and Framingham played to a scoreless tie through two periods.

Will Trischetta got the game winner when he broke the scoreless tie with 14:30 left in the third period.

Lopez scored with about 7 minutes left in the game to give Framingham a 2-0 lead.

Hunter Balducci scored with less than 3 minutes in the game to give the Flyers a 3-0 lead.

Assists in the victory went to senior captain Mike Tersoni, Trischetta, Lopez, Balducci, and Leone.

Next up for the Flyers is the Eagles of Boston College High Monday night at Loring Arena at 7:40.
