BOSTON – Senate President Karen Spilka attended the Massachusetts Municipal Association Conference in Boston today, January 18.
Governor Charlie Baker spoke earlier in the day and announced a climate change initiative and a proposed change to local aid for 2020.
Ashland Town Manager Michael Herbert, a Framingham resident, attended the conference.
Framingham had a big delegation today at the event. Mayor Yvonne Spicer, Chief Operating Officer Thatcher Kezer, Framingham City Council Chair Dennis Giombetti, At-Large City Councilor George King, School Committee Chair Adam Freudberg, and several other Framingham elected and municipal leaders were in attendance.
The Conference continues on Saturday.
