Health Connector ‘Day of Coverage’ Tour Coming To Framingham Thursday With Batucada Music, Giveaways

FRAMINGHAM – On Thursday, January 17, 2019, the Massachusetts Health Connector will hold its second ‘Day of Coverage’ featuring activities across the Commonwealth designed to help people #GetCovered and #StayCovered with health insurance in advance of the Jan. 23 deadline.

The tour will visit Framingham businesses, with batucada music by Brazilian percussionist, Marcus Santos, and members of his drumming group: Grooversity. The group will make stops across Framingham engaging community members along the way.

Day of Coverage activities will also be held Thursday in Boston, Hyannis, Oak Bluffs, Worcester, and Lawrence — all communities with higher rates of uninsured residents than the population at large.
