Framingham Woman, 35, Charged With Assault/Strangulation


FRAMINGHAM – A Framingham woman tried to strangle her ex-husband’s new wife on Sunday, January 13, and was arrested by Framingham Police.

Police were called to 64 Phelps Road at 6:50 p.m .for a report of an assault.

Police arrested Natalya Bertlyuyeva, 35, of 64 Phelps Road in Framingham. She was charged with assault and battery/strangulation/suffocation and assault and battery/hands.

According to the police report, Bertlyuyeva attacked the new wife outside when the couple tried to drop off the children of the former married couple.

The report said the woman arrested did not speak English,

She was scheduled to be arraigned in court earlier today, January 14.
