5 Things You Need To Know Today in Framingham: Monday, January 14

1 Framingham PTO Council will hold its monthly meeting tonight at Wilson Elementary IB School at 7 p.m. All are invited.

2. Framingham League of Women Voters is meeting tonight to elect new officers. Meet is at 7 p.m. at the Framingham Public Library.

3. The boys/girls middle school basketball team has a home game against Medford High this afternoon at Walsh Middle School.

4. According to Mayor’s public calendar  on the City of Framingham’s website, Mayor Yvonne Spicer is attending the training of boards and commission from 9 a.m. to noon and the second session 6 to 9 p.m. in Nevins Hall.

She will also meet with individual city councilors from to 4 to 5 p.m. in her office.

5. CITY of FRAMINGHAM meetings:

  • Framingham Housing Authority meet at 5 p.m. today.
  • Framingham Seal Development Committee meets at 6 p.m. today in the Memorial Building.
  • City Council rules & ordinances subcommittee has a meeting tonight at 7 in the Memorial Building.
  • Framingham Library Trustees meets at 7 p.m. at the main Framingham Library
