Sen. Warren Campaigns in New Hampshire
MANCHESTER NEW HAMPSHIRE – Massachusetts’ senior Senator Elizabeth Warren was in New Hampshire today, January 12, as part of her exploratory campaign for President.
She Tweeted out this photo from her speaking engagment at Manchester Community College. It was Sen. Warren’s first visit to New Hampshire since 2016.
“This is about who the rules work for,” Warren said in New Hampshire. “We need to make change in this country. Not little, itty-bitty change. Not change at the margins. Not a nibble around the edges. Not even pass one good law here and one good law there. We need to make systemic change in this country.”
Sen. Warren is not the only Democrat to announce a run for President. Others include a Hawaiian Congreswoman Tulsi Gabbard, and Julian Castro, a former secretary of housing and urban development under President Barack Obama.
