Red Hawks Defeat Flyers 63-45

NATICK – Natick High were victorious over the Framingham High boys basketball team Friday night on rival weekend.

The Red Hawks won 63-45.

Natick led at halftime 26-22.

Natick “beat us up in the 3rd 17-5 & we never recovered,” said Framingham head coach Jason Gosselin.

“Really hard to win on the road when you miss 17 free throws,” Tweeted the Framingham coach.

Natick sophomore Joe Connolly led Natick with 22 points.

Victor Carillo was the leading scorer for the Flyers with 18 points.

Natick is now 4-5 overall and 2-3 in the Conference

Framingham is now 3-3 overall and 1-3 in the Conference.

Next up for the Flyers is an away game against the Wildcats of Weymouth High on Tuesday night.

Natick will host Braintree High Tuesday night at 6;30 p.m.
