FRAMINGHAM – Framingham State University (FSU) is excited to announce the addition of a fully online Master of Business Administration (MBA) program designed for working professionals who do not have the flexibility to travel to campus.
“We continue to explore new ways to make our excellent MBA program more convenient and flexible for students,” says Dr. Steve Moysey, the program director. “Developing a fully online option to complement our blended hybrid program was a natural step in that process.”
Framingham State offers MBA programs in two in-demand concentrations:
Management and Biotechnology Operations. Initially, the fully online program will only be available for the Management concentration, which is structured to equip mid-level managers and business professionals for leadership and management roles.
Courses for the online-only program will begin in the fall on a cohort basis and be offered on an accelerated 8-week timeline.
“We are excited to offer this new track to the business community,” says Dr. Moysey. “We know there is a lot of demand for fully online MBA programs.”
Framingham State has refined its MBA program over several years with significant input from the local business community. The curriculum places an emphasis on teamwork and creativity, while focusing on the humanistic, strategic and operational elements of business management.
The traditional blended hybrid option, which combines online and face-to-face learning, offers students the flexibility of completing their degree in little as 16 months, or stretched out over four years, depending on the course load they are able to take on.
The MBA Program is guided by an advisory board made up of executives from major businesses in the MetroWest region.
