Florence (Masterman) Klock, 98, Retired Town of Framingham Bookkeeper

FRAMINGHAM – Florence J. (Masterman) Klock, 98, lifelong resident of Framingham, died Friday, January 4, 2019 at the Carlyle House, Framingham.

Born in Framingham, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Ruth (Willey) Masterman.

Florence was the wife of 36 years to the late Clarence R. Klock, who died in 1976.

For many years, Florence worked for the Town of Framingham as a Bookkeeper in the Tax Collector’s office.

She was an active member of Grace Church in Framingham and a volunteer at Framingham Union Hospital.   

Florence is survived by her children, David Klock and his wife Phyllis of FL and Nancy Nunes of Ashland; her grandchildren, Stephen Nunes and his wife Christine of Framingham, Carl Klock and his wife Christina of FL, Janette Wikstrom and her husband William of NJ and Suzanne Tavares of Ashland.

She is also survived by her great grandchildren, Kathryn Nunes, Nico Nunes, Samantha Wilson, Megan Wikstrom, Jessica Wikstrom, Nevaeh Tavares and Enzo Tavares.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend her graveside service on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Edgell Grove Cemetery, 53 Grove Street, Framingham. 

At the family’s request, there are no visiting hours.

Funeral arrangements are under the care of the Norton Funeral Home, 53 Beech Street in Framingham.
