FRAMINGHAM – The Flyers were able to hold off the Lincoln-Sudbury Warriors and claimed their 5th win of the season by a score of 61-56.
Framingham took a 27-18 lead into halftime, and were able to hold the lead for the rest of the game.
The Flyers were able to do so due to their stellar defensive play, and ability to spread the ball around offensively.
The key play in the game was a 3-point shot by Victor Carrillo, who was fouled on the shot and able to convert the free throw that followed to put the Flyers up by six points late in the fourth quarter.
Carrillo led the Flyers in scoring with 26 points.
Flyers Head coach Jason Gosselin was very pleased with his team’s performance, noting that the key to the game was the start that they got off to.
“We had a great first half, especially the start we got off to defensively” said Gosselin after the game.
“This is a great group of players, on and off the floor, and it’s great to see them come together and succeed like they did tonight,” he added.
This win brings the Flyers record to 5-3.
The Flyers Travel to Natick for a game against the rival Red Hawks on Friday night.
