FRAMINGHAM – Eastleigh Farm and Commonwealth Farm 1761 Inc. held a community meeting tonight, January 7, to discuss a proposal for a marijuana cultivation and packaging company for a portion of historic Eastleigh Farm in Framingham.
It was a standing room only crowd at the Friends Meeting House on Edmands Road. More than 100 people attended the meeting which lasted more than 90 minutes.
Doug Stephan owner of Eastleigh Farm said he would lease about 10-12 acres to Commonwealth Farm 1761 Inc., as a way to save the farm.
The proposal will need both City and State approval.
