FRAMINGHAM – Jacqueline E. (Christie) Murphy, 74, a long-time Framingham resident, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Thursday, January 3, 2018.
Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Robert B. and Elizabeth (Currie) Christie, and the beloved wife of the late Charles X. Murphy.
Jackie was raised and educated in Allston, and moved to Framingham in her early 20’s where she raised her children.
She worked for CVS for over thirty two years as a merchandiser until her retirement.
A voracious reader, she loved to travel, play cards, bowl, and simply spend time with her family and friends.
Jacqueline is survived by her son, John Palmer and his wife Patricia of Norfolk, her sister Mary Brennan and her husband Kevin of Wilmington, her brother Laurence Christie & his wife Jamie of WA, her beloved grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and her adored niece and best friend Robin Poor. She also leaves her stepchildren: Charles, Patricia, Jean, Paula & Patrick. Besides her husband Charles, she was predeceased by her son, Kyle Palmer, her siblings, Margaret Dunton, William Christie, Robert Christie, and her stepson Robert Murphy.
Family and friends will honor and remember Jacqueline’s life privately.
