PHOTOS: Flyers Defeat Wamps 4-2

FRAMINGHAM – Framingham High travelled to Zasputas Arena and defeated Bay State Conference foe Braintree High 4-2 on Saturday afternoon.

Braintree scored first, but Flyer freshman Thomas Duane tied the game at 6:40 in the period.

Will Trischitta scored the Flyers’s second goal.

Senior captain Mike Tersoni scored the game winner for the Flyers, with just over four minutes left in the third period.

Senior captain Nate Nichols scored an empty netter with about 30 seconds left in the game.

Tersoni, Nichols, senior Brian Tosi and senior Nate James had assists in the victory.

The Flyers are now 6-3 on the season, including tournaments, under head coach Will Ortiz.

Next up for the Flyers is an away game at Chase Arena against rival Natick High on January 12 at 7:20 p.m.
