Motivational Speaker Capistran, Noodle City at Ashland Business Association January Meeting

ASHLAND – The land Business Association (ABA) will hold its monthly meeting on Tuesday, January 8, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Ashland Library, Community Room, 66 Front Street.

The program, “Open Your Eyes and Lead,” will feature motivational leader and author Nancy Capistran. The program is free and open to the public.

Noodle City, an Ashland restaurant that serves authentic noodle dishes from Japan, Thailand and Vietnam, will provide food for the event.

Early networking starts at 5:30 p.m.; the program runs from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

Also on the program will be Habitat for Humanity’s Carolyn Love Scalise as a speaker for the Business Spotlight. Habitat for Humanity opened a ReStore inAshland last spring. Scalise is the store manager.

A longtime resident of Ashland, Capistran is an award-winning, internationally certified executive coach, speaker and author of the new book, “Open Your Eyes and Lead.”

She will present highlights from her book and share inspirational stories and advice to help both seasoned and emerging leaders develop intentionality and maintain favorable values and beliefs–even when the heat is on and profits are at stake.


Nearly 120 Ashland businesses make up the Ashland Business Association (ABA). The ABA holds learning programs or networking socials on the first Tuesdays of most months throughout the year.
