Mayor Spicer To Speak at Massachusetts Women’s Political Caucus in January

BOSTON – Framingham Mayor Yvonne Spicer will be the keynote speaker at the Massachusetts Women’s Political Caucus annual meeting in January.

Spicer will speak on Tuesday, january 29 at Suffolk Law school from 5:30 to 7 p.m.

“Our Annual Meeting is the time to reflect on our historic successes in 2018 and outline our priorities for the upcoming year,” stated the caucus in its announcement.

The night before on January 28, Mayor Spicer will deliver the State of the City address at Nevins Hall in Framingham.


The Mayor has a busy January calendar.

She plans to attend the swearing in ceremony of Governor Charlie Baker and Lt. Governor Karyn Polito tomorrow, January 3, at the State House, and the political gala for the the state leaders at the Museum of Science Thursday night.

Today, January 2, the Mayor was scheduled to attend the swearing in ceremony for the Middlesex District Attorney in Newton, and be at the State House for the swearing in ceremonies this morning for senate and house.

The Mayor on her public calendar has indicated she will attend the State of the City address by Boston Mayor Marty Walsh on January 15 at Symphony Hall.


Also in January, Mayor Spicer will attend two conference. She is scheduled to attend the Massachusetts Municipal Association’s Conference in Boston from January 18-20.

Spicer is scheduled to attend the U.S. Conference of Mayors winter meeting in Washington DC January 23-24-25.
