FRAMINGHAM – Akeem Koshero, a youth case manager for Metro South/West Career Connections, recently died from a health issue.
Koshero was assigned to Framingham High School.
UPDATED: Memorial Service is Thursday, January 3 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Fairways Clubhouse, 200A East Mountain Street in Worcester.
Koshero “had a caseload of Senior students and alumni. We are deeply saddened as a school community and we express our heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of Mr. Koshero,” wrote Principal Carolyn Banack in an email to students and families this afternoon, Dec. 31.
“In addition to our grief over the loss of Mr. Koshero, we are very sensitive to the effect that unexpected death can have on our students. Adolescents, like adults, may begin to think about their own experiences with death. These feelings may focus on the person who has died, another person that has died in the past, an impending death, or anxiety about death in general. Grief counseling services will be available in both Student Support Centers on Wednesday. Please encourage your child to meet with one of our counselors if you believe it to be in their best interest,” wrote the Principal.
