UPDATED: Ashland Finishes 4th in Tournament; Dinerman and Herrera Win Individual Titles

FRAMINGHAM – The Clockers finished fourth out of 24 teams at the annual Framingham Holiday Wrestling Tournament today, December 28.

Host Framingham won with 232 points.

Methuen High Rangers were second with 168.5 points. The Red Hawks had 151 points, just ahead of Ashland High fourth with 147.5 points.

Ari Dinerman at 113 pounds won his weight class. The Ashland captain defeated Caio Siqueira of Marlborough in the finals.

Benny Herrera won his weight class at 106 pounds, by defeating Michael Crowe of Methuen High in the finals.

Clocker Lucas Howard finished second in the tourney. He lost to Alex Ashooh of Manchester Memorial in the finals. He was 3-1 on the day including defeating Shawn Ashe of Framingham.

Ashland’s Jared Swartz finished 6th at the 138 pound weight class. The Ashland captain was 3-2 on the day.

Four Ashland High wrestlers finished in 7th place. They were Colin Dagg at 195 pounds, Dan Tokar at 160 pounds, Erick Corvera at 170 pounds, and Nick Crupi at 120 pounds.
