FRAMINGHAM – Frances L. (Dyer) Peterson, 91, a longtime resident of Bristol NH, where they retired to and before that of Framingham; died Sunday, December 23, 2018 after a brief illness.
Born in Weymouth, the daughter of the late Raymond B. & Alice (McIntire) Dyer, she was the beloved wife of the late Earl L. Peterson for 64 years.
Frances spent her early years with family in Maine and was a graduate of Framingham High School.
She and Earl raised their family in Framingham, and were blessed with a retirement that had them traveling all over the world.
She was a voracious reader, enjoyed a good game of scrabble, kept up with the latest technology, but most of all she cherished her family.
Frances is survived by her children, Lynn Andrews & her husband James of Framingham, and Eric & his wife Mary of Tyngsboro; her grandchildren, Peter, Mark and Sean Andrews, Lauren Giroux & her husband Kyle, and Carl and Bret Peterson; her brother, Herman Dyer of Centreville; and 7 nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband Earl, she was predeceased by her step-sister, Ursula Trainor.
Family and friends will honor and remember Frances life by celebrating her Funeral Mass at noon on Saturday, December 29 at St. Bridget Parish, Framingham.
Interment will be private.
