NATICK – The Town of Natick began advertising, December 24 for its next Director of Labor Relations and Human Resources.
The salary range is between $105,000 and $115,000.
Reporting to the Deputy Town Administrator/Operations, the Director of Labor Relations and Human Resources is a key member of the Town’s executive team.
The Director is responsible for management of employee relations, labor relations, personnel administration, administration of employee programs, and safety programs. The Town is looking for a dynamic, hard working, results oriented leader to fill this critical position.
The candidate must have a complete understanding and knowledge of local, state and federal labor and personnel laws and regulations pertaining to municipal employees; knowledge of accepted personnel practices and procedures regarding the classification of positions and compensation of employees; knowledge of civil rights and discriminatory laws and regulations; and, knowledge of worker’s compensation regulations and employee benefits.
Candidates for the position must have had a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree and more than 10 years of work experience in the personnel and/or labor relations field; or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job.
